AXIS PoE Active Splitter 5 V AF For network device with no built-in support for PoE A splitter, or active splitter, is used to split the power and data in an Ethernet cable into two separate cables, which then can be connected to a network device that has no built-in support for Power over Ethernet (PoE). AXIS PoE Active Splitter 5 V AF is IEEE 802.3af compliant and can be easily installed, with no need for system reconfiguration.
